PSS Control Essentials
PSS Control Essentials are the basis for control loop optimization because they provide the performance assessment, which is the critical first phase of improving control loop performance. Users can view the performance assessment information in both tabular and graphical format. They may drill down to details on individual loop performance, including time trends, statistical analyses, time-series analyses, and correlation analyses. Additionally, they may isolate loops that lack adequate disturbance rejection capability.

Loop Analysis
diagnoses control problems, detects poor performance, and targets maintenance efforts using a powerful, noninvasive technique. It monitors the performance of multiple control loops simultaneously using advanced statistical analysis and proprietary diagnostic technologies.

organizes control loops in order of potential performance improvement and importance to focus attention on areas of highest payback.
Tree Map
consolidates controller assessments into an impact-weighted graphical summary allowing personnel to make informed and rapid decisions regarding the health of their controllers.
Maintenance Log
provides the ability to track the maintenance activities relative to loops. It also allows for the suspension of these loops from loop analysis.
