PAS Users Conference Rescheduled

The “Strategize to Optimize” conference features an industry executive panel on today’s workforce challenges and informative presentations by leading processing companies.

Houston, TX – October 20, 2008 - PAS, a leading global supplier of software products and consulting services for the process industries, postponed its third annual Users Conference originally scheduled for September 15th - 17th due to Hurricane Ike. The “Strategize to optimize” conference is rescheduled for March 9th – 11th, 2009 at the South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center in Houston, Texas.

As originally planned, the conference will feature an industry executive panel discussion on the #1 challenge for the process industries, "Knowledge Retention: Dealing with an Aging Workforce”. In addition to an impressive line of customer presentations, Jim Pinto, noted automation industry pundit and author of “Automation Unplugged”, will make the keynote presentation on the outlook for staffing, knowledge retention, and the role of software for deployment of sustainable optimization strategies.

The Users Conference theme, “Strategize to Optimize”, highlights the software solutions and vision PAS offers for sustainable optimization within the process industries – making this a must-attend event for all those involved in the industry.
